Kat is a queer artist and a second-generation Mexican American. Their art is their passion! They love discovering new mediums. Most of their skill is self taught. Attending art school was not an option, so they learned where they could. They have been lucky enough to have helpful tips and tricks from fellow artists.

They wood burn boxes, plaques and re-claimed skateboard decks. Kat carves and prints linoleum blocks by hand to create paper and fabric prints from reclaimed goods. They work with skateboard decks by carving images. And enjoys embossing using Pewter.

Kat tries to use recycled goods as much as they can. They achieve this by using reclaimed wood from skateboard decks, using vintage clothing to create jean patches and more. It's important to them to create less waste when possible.
